The Finale!! 30 Days 30 Dresses

Hello Lovelies!!

Today is the final day of 30 Days 30 Dresses. This post has come a bit late in the day but I have been busy job hunting and fixing my car.

Here is the dress I wore today!!

Dress - £12.50 - Very
I am loving Maxi dresses at the moment as they are good for this kind of weather and also because it means I don't have to wear tights. BONUS!

To all who did, thanks so much for following this journey!!

30 Days 30 Dresses 22-29

Hello Lovelies!!!

We are almost at the end of the 30 Days 30 Dresses Challenge! I think I have done really well (bar 2 days).
I'm so happy that I managed that many! It's been fun! My mum is refusing to take more picture after this challenge though so the next person I pick to do them is my brother.

So here is the breakdown of my outfits from the past week or so.

Day 22

This is the first time I have cracked this dress out since I bought it. It is neon pink and waffle textured. I love it so much and I shall be wearing it more as the weather gets better.
I bought it from ASOS in the sale for £5!!! Absolute bargain!

Day 23

I am becoming a huge fan of wearing jumpers over dresses. I think it makes an outfit look a bit more interesting and is a change from tucking stuff in. Again I bought this dress from ASOS for £5 in the sale. It's the same as the pink one but in black.

Day 24

Here I am wearing a denim dress from Littlewoods. I have, again, worn a jumper over the top which is from Matalan. I have also put collar tips on the dress.

Day 25

This dress was given to me by my aunt and it is from Sainsbury's. I am wear a faux leather top over it, which I think, compliments the dress very well.

Day 26

I picked this beauty up in the Fat Positive clothes swap I went to a while back. It is from Club L and I love it so much. I hope there will be another swap soon. I met so many lovely people.

Day 27

Polka dots! What more could you ask for? I am a huge fan and this dress is perfect for the warm weather we have been having.

Day 28

It was my Uncle's birthday party over the weekend and he had a BBQ. I thought I would try and dress up a little bit so I wore this red cold shoulder dress that I bought from Forever21+. Over the to is a vintage shirt I bought from the plus size market earlier this year for a pound!

Day 29

This is a rust coloured dip hem dress from Debenhams in the sale. I love the colour and it is very light weight so is good for layering.

Have you noticed that my slippers appear in almost all my photos? I can't help it, they are just so comfy!
I have loved this challenge and it has indeed been a challenge. I have really had to think about what to wear and which dresses I love the most. So, So hard!!

I hope you guys are enjoying this challenge too!

Also I have another haul video coming up soon so please do subscribe to my YouTube channel so you can check it out. I would love to know what sort of videos you would like to see as well!

Much Love,

OMCZ #29

Hello Lovelies!!!

Here is the next instalment of Outside My Comfort Zone. This weeks topic was picked by Hollie, she said:

'Pastels are here for Spring and Summer but I'd love some inspiration from you lovely ladies. I want to see you flourish in fondant colours. Pinks, mints, sky blues... the list goes on. I don't want to hide away this Summer so this will be good practice'

This jumper is probably the only pastel colour item in my wardrobe and I bought it early last year from Matalan. I love this jumper and it's a great addition to my spring wardrobe! Hopefully I will be adding more pastel colours in the future.

Also did you notice a change in hair style?? Yes I know!!

Please have a look at the other wonderful ladies taking part.

March Birch Box

Hello Lovelies,

I have had this box for ages but just haven't got round to doing a post on it.. Sorry, not sorry.

I am only in my second month of the Birchbox subscription and I am finding that it is great but when it comes to make up samples... Not so much.

I have dark skin, which I stated in the online from you have to fill out but for some reason they keep sending me samples of concealer (mostly) for medium skin and it's really annoying. I don't want to be giving the samples, I PAY FOR, away because I cant use them.

I love Birchbox but I am not getting the chance to enjoy the make up samples. Waaahh!!!

Anyway, rant over!

Moving on the the actual box itself. This month Birchbox had collaborated with LuLu Guinness and I have to say that I had not heard of the brand before I got the box. So, I looked it up and I am in love! I definitely know what I want for my birthday this year!

Moving on, very reluctantly. Here is what I got in my box.

For some reason I cant rotate the picture with all the stuff labelled, so I am going to write it for you all.

  1. Benefit - Stay don't stray - Eye Primer £20.50 full size (something I couldn't use).
  2. Dr. Brandt - Pores no more Pore refiner £39 full size (something I couldn't use).
  3. Korres - Citrus Body Milk £9.50 full size. I loved the smell but the consistency was way off. It was very runny, almost like it had been watered down. Apart from that it does the job and is very moisturising.
  4. Molten Brown - Rhubarb and Rose replenishing hand cream £10 full size. This stuff smells amazing, I quickly swapped my current hand cream for this sample and I would recommend this to anyone. My hands have not felt dry at all since using this.
  5. English Laundry - No7 For Her £47 full size (not sure how many ml). Again, smelt amazing and lasted throughout the day. Spot on!
  6. My extra - Candy Rock, I am saving it for a beach day.

So far so good Birchbox, I am pleased with the majority of samples that were given and I shall be keeping my subscription going!

Much Love,

30 Days 30 Dresses 14-20

Hello Lovelies!

First of all, Yes! I have missed out a couple of days but with a really good excuse!! Day 13 and today there has been no one around to take my photos unfortunately but never fear. I have some lovely dresses to show you.

Second, I am still trying to get the hang of using this camera. It's extremely temperamental so some photos are really good quality and others just make me sad. I have, however, decided to start saving up for an SLR. Hopefully I will have one by Christmas this year.

Let's get on with these outfits!!

Day 14
I picked this dress up at the Fat Positive Clothes Swap and at first I thought it wouldn't fit me but it is perfect. I do believe that it is home made as well!! Lucky me! A one of a kind dress.

Day 15
I went to visit a friend in London and she said I should try out some new, more natural poses for my blog. It was a really nice day and I think she took some really good shots!! I am wearing a Dorothy Perkins dress that I bought in the sale at the beginning of this month.

Day 16
This is a dress but it is just really short on me. I'm thinking it may be petite. I got it from the H by Henry Holland section in Debenhams and I wore the leather look leggings that I got from Primark which were in my Collective Haul video.

 Day 17
This is a Marks and Spencer fit and flare dress, which I thought looked a bit too smart on its own. To make it more casual I paired it with a denim shirt (from South I think) which I tied at the waist and a statement necklace which was also in my collective haul video.

Day 18
The weather was great, if a little bit windy, so I cracked out a maxi dress from the Dorothy Perkins sale last year. To protect me from the cold wind I wore a Marks and Spencer shirt and tied it at the waist.

 Showing off some leg....

Day 19
I got this dress off Big Fat Betty's blog sale a couple of weeks ago. It is AX Paris Curve.
It's a bodycon dress and is just about knee length on me. I love this dress so much.

Day 20
Phew! We have come to the end of the post! I bought this dress of Dorothy Perkins. Its a denim smock dress with floral print and it comes in a variety of colours and prints too!
Blue Floral Print Denim Dress
Indigo butterfly Denim Dress
Petite Floreal Denim Dress

Are any of you lovely people doing this challenge along side us bloggers?

It would be lovely to see some of your favourites!

30 Days 30 Dresses 6-12

Hello Lovelies,

Here is a round up of my dresses from the past few days.

Day 6
This was the 99p Dress challenge day, I love this polka dot dress. I haven't stopped wearing it since I got it.

 Day 7
I got this Monsoon dress from the fat positive clothes swap, I love it so much and I am really happy I picked it up.

 Day 8
I got this smock dress a while ago from Matalan (in the sale of course). I know I am looking hot in my slippers!

 Day 9
This dress is from the maternity section in Primark. I love it so much it is different from other daisy print dresses that are around.

Day 10
Another Dorothy Perkins fit an flare dress, I like the way these dresses fall and I think that I will be adding more to my wardrobe.

Day 11
I picked this dress up from the Plus London Market a while ago and really should have checked the size because it is about 4 sizes too big. Luckily, it has an elasticated waist so it stays in the right place. Alterations, are a must with this one.

 Day 12
And last but not least, today I wore a midi dress I got in the Primark sales in January. I love the colour but it is completely see through so I had to were a vest top and extra thick leggings with it.

That is all for now. Is anyone taking part alongside us bloggers? Please do share some of your favourites.

Much Love,

OMCZ #28

Hello Lovelies,

Here's is another OMCZ challenge for you. This week the challenge was chosen by Mary. She said:

'I know that heels make our feet hurt and sometimes is quite difficult to walk however, is there anything more stylish than a woman in heels? You may have a simple dress and no accessories but if you put your heels on you will be the most elegant girl in the room SO ladies I want to see your heels!!'

I have a few pairs of heels but only wore them on nights out when I was in uni and haven't really worn them since. I will be showing 4 pairs in this post.
I will start with summery ones! The weather is getting better so I would like to get these out as much a possible.

The first pair are from Faith, gifted to me by my mum.

These wedges are from New Look, They are so high, I feel like I may topple over in them but as long as I do it in style, I don't see the problem.

Now for the going out ones! The first pair are the most uncomfortable pair of shoes I have ever purchased. They are from New Look and are kind of Jeffrey Campbell knock-offs.

These are my most favourite pair, they are ridiculously comfortable! They are a prime example of paying more to get better quality. My feet never hurt in these shoes. They are from Dune and cost me £45 in the sale a few years back.

I wish I had more places to wear these to. Hopefully soon!
