Horizontal Stripes and Queen Bee

Good Evening you lovely lot!!

I said I would have a blogpost this weekend so I'm gonna stick to my promise and give you a blogpost!!!
Motivation: 1 Laziness: 0

I find it so difficult to take pictures for my blog as I don't really have anyone to take them and I'm too cheap to pay anyone to do it for me. I did however manage to steal 20 minutes of my cousins day for her to take some for me!

As you may or may not have seen  on my insta a few weeks back, I went to Bicester Village and I bought a really cool T'shirt from Kate Spade.. I know right.. Me? Fitting into Kate Spade clothes??? Pah!!

Well, I did with this T-shirt and of course I'm gonna wear it loud a proud!! I even did my make up nicely too!!

I got the top in an XL and it fits pretty well. I have problems with tops because of the boobage but this one is okay because it has quite a bit of stretch in it.

Also, did you notice? I'm fat and I'm wearing horizontal stripes! No on died. Shocker!

I always go for optimum comfort with outfits and anything with a bit of stretch in it makes me very happy!

My aunt told me to take one like this with her only rose! I couldn't do it seriously so that's why my mouth is open!

 Look at them bingo wings!

See I told you my makeup looks good!
Top: Kate Spade
Skirt: Asda
Jacket: River Island
Boots: Newlook

I hope you are all having a good evening!

Much Love,

Abi

John Lewis - Studio 8 Launch

Morning Everyone!

A few weeks ago I was invited to the Studio 8 Launch for John Lewis. I was so excited as I didn't know that John Lewis had a plus size section and I couldn't wait to see what they had to offer.
When I arrived I was met by a lovely lady and taken to a meeting room. And of course in my true fatty form headed straight for the food, which I thoroughly enjoyed.

We had a nice chat about the collection with the designers and some of the John Lewis staff. Everyone was really lovely and welcoming. I also met some fabulous ladies on the evening and I had a really good massage from the wonderful ladies at Clarins.

The range goes from a size 16-24. We got to try on clothes from the range and here are my favourites.

I love this dress and jacket combo, I am quite tall so I would have to wear this with really thick leggings.
I tried on the 22 (in the dress) but for comfort think I would have liked to try on the 24 because... well because boobs.

The print on this dress (heart eyes emoji) I wasn't to keen of the fit on me but the material does fall nicely and is in scuba material so has a bit more give than many of the others I tried on.

I don't spend much time travelling on public transport so this mac would be perfect for winter. I could just imagine it with a nice pair of chunky boots and a blanket scarf.

This wrap dress has to be my favourite out of the whole collection. I love how it fits and I love the colour.
It is so comfortable and hugs my figure perfectly. 100% YES!

And last but not least, this emerald green dress. I had to size up a bit because again, boobs, but apart from that this is a beautiful dress. The lace was a bit itchy but I had been trying on clothes for about an hour by this point so being hot and trying on clothes and the posing for a photo would make me a bit uncomfortable.
The dress was the perfect length for me and cinches in at the waist to give some shape. it is full lined and I got to swish around in it, so it made me happy.

Have you had a look at the collection? What are your favourite pieces?

Much Love,

Abi

#StyleHasNoSize

Hello Lovely People,

A couple of weeks ago I went to and event hosted by Evans called #StyleHasNoSize. It was great to see with friends and meet some new people too! And there were tonnes of pictures taken on the photo booth.

I just loved having a chat with everyone and drinking wine and eating mini foods.

Here are a couple (by couple I mean shit tonne) of snaps of the evening.

Just a note, all of these ladies are gorgeous!!! I also had a lot of fun and laughs and alcohol. Excuse the sweaty mess you see in the white and yellow dress!

And here is my outfit:
The dress is from Primark, the leggings Yours Clothing and my shoes are from New Look.

I had a great time and hope there are many more events to come.

So, I'm not wearing a dress...

Hello Lovelies,

I bring you another outfit of the day!! Yay! I really don't know what has happened to me recently but I am just finding huge amount of Inspiration and motivation. I do hope it continues this way!!

If I can find links to all the items I will put the below!

I had my cousins birthday do a couple of weeks ago and I wanted to look nice but not too dressy.

I went for this combination.

What I wore:

Print Shirt,  Simply Be
Sleeveless Blazer, Simply Be
Disco Pants, Simply Be (from plus size clothes swap)
Shoes: Dorothy Perkins
Statement Necklace: Chunky Cat Cuddler

The shoes probably weren't the best idea as it was absolutely freezing! Oh well! At least they added colour to my outfit.

To The Maxi

Hello Everyone!!!

Today I bring you an outfit if the day. I live mostly in dresses because I find they are easy to put on and I don't have to think about whether my top will match with my bottom.

I ventured into Simply be (on Oxford Street) a few weeks ago and they had 20% off this dress which, personally, I thought was a win!! Unfortunately now it has gone back up to £60 but never fear boxing day sales are just round the corner!!

What I wore:
Fedora, Primark
Dress, Simply Be
Necklace, House of Fraser
Boots, Primark

Now it's starting to get cold I think I will have to put away the jackets for a while!

30 Days 30 Dresses 6-12

Hello Lovelies,

Here is a round up of my dresses from the past few days.

Day 6
This was the 99p Dress challenge day, I love this polka dot dress. I haven't stopped wearing it since I got it.

 Day 7
I got this Monsoon dress from the fat positive clothes swap, I love it so much and I am really happy I picked it up.

 Day 8
I got this smock dress a while ago from Matalan (in the sale of course). I know I am looking hot in my slippers!

 Day 9
This dress is from the maternity section in Primark. I love it so much it is different from other daisy print dresses that are around.

Day 10
Another Dorothy Perkins fit an flare dress, I like the way these dresses fall and I think that I will be adding more to my wardrobe.

Day 11
I picked this dress up from the Plus London Market a while ago and really should have checked the size because it is about 4 sizes too big. Luckily, it has an elasticated waist so it stays in the right place. Alterations, are a must with this one.

 Day 12
And last but not least, today I wore a midi dress I got in the Primark sales in January. I love the colour but it is completely see through so I had to were a vest top and extra thick leggings with it.

That is all for now. Is anyone taking part alongside us bloggers? Please do share some of your favourites.

Much Love,
