I Went Shopping

Good Evening Lovely People,

The Saturday before last, I went shopping with the beautiful Michaela and I spent a lot of money on stuff I don't need and had no money for. I am a self confessed shopaholic so I really can't help myself.

We went to Bicester Village for the day and it was thoroughly enjoyable. If you ever plan on going, go early so you can leave early. Myself and Michaela realised very quickly that we would not need to spend the whole day there but the train tickets I booked only allowed us on the train at a particular time.

Any way, it was a fun day filled with shopping, many laughs, amazing food and both of us being extremely tired by the end of it. I still think now that I haven't fully recovered.
Our intention was to find a bag for Michaela but I love shopping so I had a few items on my wish list too. All the staff were very friendly and helpful and the Village is really easy to navigate. It was very quaint and cute.

Here is what I bought! Sorry it has taken so long Hollie!!

Anya Hindmarch

I blame Michaela for this purchase but the patches in this shop are great and I couldn't resist buying one.

Kate Spade

I originally picked up a pouch but then I saw this T-Shirt and searched frantically through the pile to find the biggest size... And there it was and XL glittering in my eyes!! AAAnnnnddddd, it fits as well!!

Pandora

I don't know what it is about Pandora but everyone I go to there is always a queue outside. I was waiting in the queue for about an hour, probably a bit longer. I managed to pick up four charms. I believe some of these are still on the Pandora website. I'm not gonna link the because I can't be arsed.

Cath Kidston

This is where I went completely crazy. There were so many bargains to be had! I have always loved the robot pattern and there were sooo many things with it on. I finally managed to pick up an overnight bag and some other bits an pieces. I have no idea why I bought spoons. Don't judge, I was buying on impulse.

L'Occitane

This was the last shop I went to, I have never used any of the products before so I was looking for something to try. The I saw this £12 bargain and had to have it. It's four handbag size perfumes. They all smell amazing and I think I will do some reviews on them too.

Thanks for reading!

Much Love,

Abi

It's Oh So Quiet....

Hello My Lovelies,

I haven't been able to blog in a while due to different reasons but I thought I would update you on my life so far and maybe try something a bit different today.

The past few weeks have been pretty hectic and I have also lost a lot of motivation and lack/ inspiration to blog.  I know many people get this block and will understand what I am going through.  I enjoy blogging and see it as a way to share my thought and feeling about clothes and what not but I would not class myself as a fashion blogger. Actually, I think I am pretty far from it.

I do like fashion and I thoroughly enjoy reading fashion blogs and watching YouTube videos but I am a bargain hunter through and through and in many cases in order to write about fashion I feel it has to be current and about things that are new and 'in' and I really don't feel like I fit into the category.

So I have decided that over the next couple of weeks I will have a revamp on my blog. I will still write about clothes but probably not in the same way and I want to also share my life a bit more with you all and make my blog a little bit (very small bit) more personal. The only way to relate to peeps is to have some common ground.

I have a few posts to write over the next couple of weeks and hopefully I can get some sort of routine going so I am not posting just once a month (if I'm lucky). I hope that you all enjoy the change and the journey I take  to make the changes to my blog. I hope it will be more exciting and that everyone enjoys reading it!

Much Love,

A Big Ol' Catch up

Hello Lovely People,

I have been so busy lately and haven't had a proper chance to write anything blog related in a while. I am currently juggling two jobs (I have no idea why) and deciding what to do with my future (also have no idea).

So here is what I have been doing over the past few of months including this past week.

And I begin with.....

Plus North!!!

Yes I know it's ages after but this was my first time going and I want to share it with you all.

Oh Yeah, before I continue, this is going to be quite picture heavy.

So, on the 30th and 31st of August this year, I attended and event called Plus North. This year some plus size companies showcased their autumn/winter ranges. It was great to see some old friends and make some new ones too!
Here is my outfit of the night. I didn't really get many pictures of myself. The dress is from the Scarlett and Jo range in Evans and I got it for only £20! absolute bargain!

Me and the lovely ladies! Becky, Mookie and Sam!

Simply be!

I also went on a shopping trip with some other plus size bloggers! We went mainly for the new Simply be Store that opened in central London. I only managed to get one picture but I had a really good time! The staff were extremely helpful and I got some really great items...(coming soon in a post near you).

MSSVG and Junarose!

I was also invited to an event by Monique from MSSVG in collaboration with Junarose. We got to see a really good catwalk showcasing some of their spring/summer range and I have to say I loved all of it!

This is the picture heavy part so please do enjoy!

I tried on some outfits too! I absolutely loved this tunic/dress. The material was really, really good quality and thick enough so you don't have to put on too many layers.

At the end of the night we were allowed to pick an item to take home.. I took this coatigan ( don't know if that is the right word). It is really comfortable to wear and night an thick. I got an XL but could easily have got a large too. It has a lot of room for putting a jumper underneath.

I have recently started work experience and I sometimes have to wake up really early. The benefits are that you get to see some really cool sunrises. They are really hard to capture but I have tried my best.

And that is basically it! I should hopefully be back to some sort of routine with blogging so please stay tuned!

Much love,

Money Saving Monday - Why the spending ban?

Hello Lovely People,

'Hi, my name is Abi and I am a shopaholic'. I admit it and I am not ashamed.

I thought I would actually explain why I have put myself on a spending ban this month. No pictures *SHOCK, HORROR*.

My first reason being, that I can no longer fit any clothes in my wardrobe, yes I said it! My wardrobe is ridiculously full. I disgust myself with the number of clothes that still have the price tags on, that I haven't worn, that have been bought on a whim because someone else looked amazing in it so I wanted to look that amazing and that have been worn once and been put away never to see the light of day again.

Now I know I don't need more clothes but working in a clothes shop, in a shopping centre, makes this extremely difficult and I just can't help it.

Second reason is that I am planning to go back to university. As much as I do enjoy working where I work, I want more out of life (cliché much?) I want to have more sociable hours and be able to see my family and friends on the weekends when they are actually free. Anywho, back to the university thing... I have changed my mind a lot over the past few months about what I want to do and I have finally made the decision to go into some type of teaching or training. I still haven't properly decided on which one yet but I am still researching.

My third reason is that I hate being broke by the second week in the month because I have spent my whole wage on clothes... I need to control my spending and from now on I shall be giving myself s budget each month in order to do this (more info to come on a later post).

My fourth and final reason, probably the least important of them all, is that I want to go on holiday! I haven't been for a while and it's a great way to sit back and relax away from home and all my worries. The added bonus that I can go on holiday out of 'term time' so it's cheaper and I can go when it is cold here and warm elsewhere *JOY*.

So, those are my reasons. They may not be everyones cup of tea but they are mine and I want to try my best to keep my goals insight and affordable.

I hope you enjoyed this different type of post, I feel like I need to be more chatty with my readers. I hope you like it. Comment your thoughts below.

Money Saving Monday - Did you say sale?

Hello My Lovelies!!

As you all know me and some of my fellow plus size bloggers are taking part in a spending ban this month and to make it a bit fun we decided to make a blog challenge out of it. We are already two weeks in and I have to say I have found it extremely difficult not to but all the things!

My bank balance really suffered last month and I want to save to go on holiday for my birthday so I just have to grin and bear it. Although, I will have a haul video for you guys at the end of this month for my purchases last month (I know it doesn't make any sense but some stuff didn't arrive on time).

I think I have done alright so far with the spending ban but I just can't resist checking out the ASOS website (in the sale) because they just have all the pretty things!! ASOS isn't the only site I look through for clothes but I need to resist so I don't make myself cry...

Hopefully some of my family members will see this *hint, hint mum and dad*

Please take a look at the other ladies taking part:
